Loudoun Learning was conceived while I was a Head Start classroom teacher with Loudoun County Public Schools. As a teacher, I was eager to find new materials and products to use in the classroom. I also wanted to let parents know of possible materials they could use at home. However, Loudoun County did not have an educational store.
Parents would easily get frustrated by not being able to find the correct products so I felt the best way to support parents in their endeavor was to open an educational store.
